La Laboratoire du Docteur Steak

We are two young foodies from Manchester, passionate about nutritious food and positive wellbeing.

We share a huge host of commitments, with our combined working week in excess of 100 hours, exercise, college, our blog, large families who we love to spend time with, and we do love to fit in the odd social occasion.

Our similar personalities make this collaboration all the more fun for us. We’re both extremely hard working and driven, whilst also being very chatty and occasionally distracted by our own laughter!

We love the opportunity to prepare huge 3 course meals for our friends and family. However, we’re totally aware of the frequent, realistic need to whip up a meal for two in 15 minutes or less. One of our motivations is to help you balance everyday demands of a busy lifestyle with healthy choices. It is possible!

Having both come from large Jewish families, we’ve had food very much ingrained into our upbringing. We have always loved the traditional delicacies made by our mums and grandmas, so look out for our own nutritious slant on some of our favourites.

We refer to our food as real because all of our ingredients are natural and unprocessed. Conscious of your time, all ingredients can be found at your local supermarket. With real ingredients, you’ll eliminate unnecessary energy-sapping toxins and preservatives. You’ll know exactly what is in your diet, in order to tweak it to suit your needs.

If you take one thing from Two Real Foodies, let it be that no two people are the same and no one way of living is ‘right’. We’ve gathered the information about how food and lifestyle choices impact your physical and mental wellbeing. Our aim is for you to utilise this information, listen to your body and discover what works for YOU.
