L’Equip 215 XL Juicer

We were so excited to receive our L’Equip Juicer in the post last week. Since opening it we’ve been making all sorts of yummy fruit and vegetable juices to kick start 2017 in a fresh and healthy way. As we’re often short of time, it’s great that you don’t need loads of time on your hands to eat healthy and get in 5 a day… and this is another gadget to add to your kitchen to make things a bit easier. Over the past week we have made a juice a day in under 10 minutes!

We’ve broken our review down into aspects we’d be looking for in a juicer to make this review as useful to you as possible.

Looks and size:

It’s stylish and modern looking so you’d be happy to leave it out on the kitchen work surface if you didn’t have room in the cupboards and knew you’d be juicing each morning. Equally it’s small enough to find space in a cupboard somewhere in the kitchen. It’s light-weight so it’s not like other juicers where you’ve got to lug them out of the cupboard which makes it an effort to use!

Set up and Juicing:

It was so easy to set up: in less than 2 minutes everything was assembled and we were juicing away.

For us, the most important things were that the juicer was easy to use and produced a delicious juice really quickly. Well, that was certainly achieved! For each juice that we made, all we had to do was place the fruit and vegetables in the centre, flick the ‘on’ switch, plunge down the fruit and veg and voila – you have juice. You don’t even need to cut up the majority of your fruit and veg, as there is an extra large tube to feed into. This is definitely something that sets this juicer apart, as it saves time = winner!

A slight downside is the noise level. If you’re the first one up in your home and planning on surprising everyone with juices, it might not be the best juicer for you. It most certainly isn’t the quietest of juicers, but don’t let that deter you – we made our juices the night before to take on the go in the morning and they were just as tasty (just needed a quick stir)!

Cleaning:

We all know cleaning up is the worst part of being in the kitchen, but luckily for us this L’Equip Juicer is easy to clean. There are quite a few bits to take apart and clean, but each part is easy to clean and not too fiddly. The parts are also dishwasher safe.

Price:

This juicer is £99.00. You’re going to get fantastic quality and longevity with a 6 year guarantee, which is amazing!
