Protein Balls

The essentials

Ingredients

  • 200g Ground Oats (Either buy them already finely ground, or put your rolled oats in a blender or Nutri Bullet for a few seconds)
  • 175g vanilla protein (we love Awesome Supplements)
  • 7 tsp ground cinnamon (more/less according to taste)
  • 70ml cold water
  • 22g Almond Butter
  • 22g clear honey
  • 72g Nutella
  • 10g coconut (optional)

Makes 12 balls

Method

Combine the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl, apart from 10g protein powder and 2 tsp cinnamon.

Add water and mix with a fork until a dough-like mixture forms. Then, add honey and almond butter.

Separate the mixture into 12 rough balls, then roll each of these into a thick circle, around 2cm thick. Place your finger into the centre to make a shallow dip for your Nutella and scoop in 6g of Nutella with 2 knives to help you. Squeeze the dough around the Nutella to close in the ball.

Place the 10g protein powder, remaining 2 tsp cinnamon and coconut if you wish onto a plate and cover the balls in a very light dusting of the mix.

Store the Protein Balls in the fridge and enjoy!
